The mission of the Compliance staff is to:
- Educate student-athletes, coaches, athletic department staff, and selected George Mason University support offices on the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations;
- Ensure that compliance systems are in place and are being monitored to prevent NCAA violations;
- Investigate alleged violations and report to the NCAA when appropriate;
- Assist student-athletes with eligibility issues;
- Provide NCAA educational programs for area middle school, high school, and community groups;
- Act as liason with the NCAA and Colonial Athletic Association (CAA).
