2007 Outdoor: Competed in the 200- and 400-meter dash and the 800-meter run for the Patriots... Ran his top time of the year in the 200-meter dash at the Patriot Open Invitational, crossing the finish line in 23.86 seconds... Ran his fastest time of the season in the 400-meter dash at the Colonial Relays, finishing in 52.16 seconds... Competed in the 800-meter run for the first time in his career at the Mason Spring Classic, clocking in at 2:03.63... Teamed with Andrew Wright-Hall, Michael Wade and Alex Clayton to run the 4x100-meter relay at the CAA Championships, finishing in sixth place with a time of 44.41 seconds.

2006 Outdoor: Finished in first place in the 4x100-meter relay at the Mason Spring Open Invitational, teaming with Marc Kellman, Richard Phillips and Sammy Sesay to cross the finish line in 42.61 seconds... Teamed with MacGregor Lennarz, Michael Akindele and Brian Hay to finish in third place in the 4x400-meter relay at the Patriot Open Invitational, crossing the finish line in 3:31.39... Posted his best time of the season in the 100-meter dash at the Lou Onesty/Milton G. Abramson Invitational, finishing in 11.63 seconds... Topped his previous outdoor personal best in the 200-meter dash three times, finishing with a top time of 22.91... Finished the 400-meter dash in 51.85 seconds at the Raleigh Relays.

2006 Indoor: Finished third in the 200-meter dash at the Father Diamond Open Invitational, finishing in 23.41 seconds... Teamed with Mutsa Nyakabau, Javan Corniffe and MacGregor Lennarz to finish in third place in the 4x400-meter relay at the Patriot Games, finishing the race in 3:28.39... Broke his previous personal record in the 200-meter dash four times, finishing with a top time of 23.06 seconds... Finished the 400-meter dash in 51.72 seconds at the Winter Open Invitational... Ran the 4x400-meter relay with Mutsa Nyakabau, MacGregor Lennarz and Javan Corniffe at the Armory Collegiate Invitational, finishing in 3:23.23.

2005 Outdoor: Saw action in three events... Had two top-20 finishes at the CAA Championships, placing 16th in the 100m in 11.64 and tied for 20th in the 200m in 23.17... Participated in the 200 and 400 at the Mason Invitational, finishing 11th in the 200 with a mark of 23.06 and 13th in the 400 at 51.92... Listed 20th (52.31) in the 400m at the Baldy Castillo Invitational... Named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in the Fall for excellence in the classroom.

2005 Indoor: Ran under 24 seconds in the 200 on four occasions... Finished in a personal-best of 23.45 (4th) at the Winter Open... Tied for 15th at the Collegiate Open in a time of 23.89... Was 48th in 23.55 at the Armory Collegiate... Placed 5th at the Patriot Games (23.80)... Also competed in the 400m at the Father Diamond Open, placing 13th in 53.88.

2004 Outdoor: Ran at three different distances as well as one relay event... Shattered personal best in the first meet of the season, running a 51.65 in the 400 meters at the Raleigh Relays... Ran both the 200 meters and 400 at the CAA Championships, coming in 14th in both events, with times of 24.20 and 53.53, respectively... Also ran on the 4X100-meter relay team that finished 3rd at the CAA Championships with a time of 42.30... Had a pair of top-20 finishes at the Patriot Open, coming in 18th in the 100 meters in 11.50 and 19th in the 200 in 23.22... Ran the 400 at the Terrapin Invitational, finishing with a time of 52.30.

2004 Indoor: Ran in five races and recorded three top-10 finishes on the season... Had best finish at the Patriot Games, coming in seventh in the 200 meters with a time of 24.08... Set a personal best in the 400 meters at the Collegiate Open, running a 53.50 for a 10th-place finish... Also finished 10th in the 400 at the Winter Open, this time in 53.83... Ran the 500 meters twice, first at the Father Diamond Open Invitational, then at the Virginia Tech Indoor Invitational... Was 25th at the Father Diamond with a time of 1:12.46... Improved time two weeks later to finish in 1:10.62.

Prep: Attended Falls Church High School where he lettered four times in indoor track, three times in cross country, twice in soccer and once in outdoor track. Was second in both the 4X200 and 4X400 in the national districts. Set personal bests in the 200 (23.5) and 400 (55.0).

Personal: Born on May 25, 1985... Parents are Hugo and Estela Maldonado... Has two brothers - Byron and Fernando... Graduated from Falls Church High School in 2003... Was Senior Class President in high school as well as Treasurer of the Student Council and the Spanish Honor Society and Vice President of the Future Business Leaders of America... Won the William & Mary Leadership Award as a junior.
